3. Our Services

Digital Doctors Online provides installation and consultancy services, including but not limited to CCTV systems, ISP backup and failover solutions, smart home packages, physical product sales, and ongoing technical support. Service availability may vary based on your location and requirements.

4. Booking & Payment

  • All services must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

  • Payment for services or products is required before or at the time of delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, PayPal, and major credit/debit cards.

  • Bookings are confirmed via email upon receipt of payment.

  • Prices are subject to change; you will be notified of any changes before confirming your booking.

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Bookings may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled service for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled service will incur a cancellation fee of 20% of the total booking value or £50, whichever is greater, to cover administrative and scheduling costs.

  • Faulty or damaged products are covered under the manufacturer’s standard warranty, unless otherwise stated.

  • Refunds for faulty or damaged products will be processed in accordance with UK consumer law.

6. Delivery & Shipping

6.1 Order Processing
All orders placed on our website are processed promptly after payment confirmation. Orders received on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

6.2 Delivery Timeline
We aim to deliver all orders within 3 to 7 working days from the date of order confirmation, unless otherwise stated on the product page or during checkout. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

6.3 Delivery Areas
Delivery is available to addresses within the United Kingdom. For orders outside our standard delivery area, please contact us prior to ordering to discuss possible arrangements.

6.4 Delays and Notifications
While we make every effort to deliver orders within the stated timeframe, unforeseen circumstances may occasionally result in delays. Should any issues arise, we will notify you as soon as possible via email or phone.

6.5 Tracking and Receipt
You will receive a tracking number once your order is dispatched. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive and sign for the goods.

Some products may offer optional subscription services (such as Google Nest Aware, Ring Protect, or Eufy cloud storage). These services are billed separately by the provider and are not included in the purchase price unless clearly stated.

Prices on our website are set by Digital Doctors Online and may differ from manufacturer-recommended retail prices (RRP).

All installation work is carried out to professional standards. We are not responsible for issues arising from misuse, lack of maintenance, or alterations made by third parties after installation.
You are responsible for following user instructions and maintaining your system as recommended.

1. Company Details

Digital Doctors Online Ltd ("the Company") provides professional installation, configuration, and advisory services for smart home, CCTV, networking, and related technology solutions.

The company operates as an installer and system integrator only and does not provide security monitoring, surveillance services, guarding services, or data hosting.

2. Scope of Services

The company provides the following services:

  • On-site consultation and system design

  • Professional installation of customer-owned devices

  • Initial configuration and testing

  • Basic user guidance at handover

The company does not provide ongoing monitoring, remote access, or management of installed systems unless expressly agreed in writing.

3. Customer Responsibilities

The customer confirms that:

  • They are the legal owner or authorized occupier of the property where the equipment is to be installed, or they have obtained all necessary permissions from the property owner.

  • All information provided to the company is accurate and complete.

  • They are responsible for ensuring the suitability of the property for installation, including access, power supply, and network availability.

4. CCTV & Smart Device Installation – Customer Consent

The Customer consents to the installation of CCTV cameras, video doorbells, and/or smart security devices on the property for private use only.

The Customer acknowledges that they are the data controller for any personal data captured by the installed devices and are responsible for compliance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Digital Doctors Online Ltd acts solely as an installer and configurator and does not access, monitor, store, or control recorded footage or personal data after installation is completed.

Where devices may capture areas accessed by visitors or staff, the Customer is responsible for providing appropriate signage and privacy notices in line with UK data protection guidance.

5. Compliance With Manufacturer Terms

All installed products remain subject to the manufacturer’s terms of use, privacy policy, and technical limitations.

The Customer agrees to use installed devices only in lawful, privately owned locations and in accordance with manufacturer guidance. The Company accepts no responsibility for misuse, unauthorized relocation, or modification of devices after installation.

 

6. Ownership of Equipment

All equipment supplied or installed remains the property of the Customer unless otherwise stated in writing.

The Company does not claim ownership of any devices, recordings, data, or network traffic generated by the installed systems.

 

7. Data Protection & Privacy

The Company processes personal data only for purposes necessary to deliver agreed services, including communication, scheduling, invoicing, and support.

The Company does not retain copies of video recordings, login credentials, or system access details after installation, unless explicitly agreed for support purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Company shall not be liable for:

  • Misuse or unlawful use of installed equipment

  • Third-party access to systems caused by weak passwords, shared credentials, or customer actions

  • Internet outages, power failures, or manufacturer service disruptions

  • Indirect or consequential losses, including loss of data or recordings

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where prohibited by UK law.

9. Warranty & Support

Installation workmanship is covered for a period agreed upon at the time of service.

Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer. The Company does not provide warranties for hardware faults unless explicitly stated in writing.

10. Payment Terms

Payment terms, pricing, and cancellation conditions are set out in the agreed quotation or invoice.

Full payment is due as stated, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Acceptance

By accepting a quotation, booking installation services, or allowing installation to proceed, the Customer confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
